PROGRAM EXECUTION METHOD, INTERMEDIATE CODE ANALYTIC PROGRAM, AND VIRTUAL MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently execute a virtual machine by automatically realizing the optimum cache use at execution even when executing a program of any intermediate code in a CPU having different processing speeds according to a cache memory occupied state. SOLUTION: The features of intermediate code instructions in an intermediate code file are judged by type in advance and buried at the top of the file. A virtual machine holds intermediate code processing interpreter sets applying the optimum relocation and split to a cache memory by type, dynamically selects an interpreter set according to the type of the read intermediate code, loads the selected interpreter set, and interprets and executes the intermediate code. The intermediate code is automatically interpreted and executed by use of the optimum cache, and a high speed and efficient execution environment is realized.
