Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm intuitively and instantly that an image display device is in a standby state. SOLUTION: In an image display device in which a DAC(Digital to Analog Converter) for outputting a image signal to a image signal terminal stops in the standby state, voltage is applied to the image signal terminal without passing through the DAC in the standby state. In this configuration, the standby state is indicated by displaying a fixed color on the entire screen of a monitor. Hence the confirmation of the standby state can be made instantly and intuitively even while driving a car.
