Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and firmly connect a plurality of deck panels in both longitudinal and lateral directions with simple work. SOLUTION: This connecting device consists of a joist 1A and a connecting fitting 3. The joist has a means for fixing the connecting fitting to the longitudinal end part, and a means for locking the fixing means to the connecting fitting when lowered from above. The connecting fitting has a means fixed to the longitudinal end part of the joist and locked to the locking means of the joist when it is lowered, to regulate the movement in the longitudinal direction of the joist and in a perpendicular direction to the longitudinal direction.
