Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device showing a user of the discharge bin of the mail box. SOLUTION: When a printer 200 receives a printing request sent from a host 100, a controller part 210 acquires user information from the host 100, for identifying the user. The controller part 210, based on the acquired user information, checks whether there is a discharge bin for the user among the discharge bins in the mailbox 240. If the discharge bin for the user does not exist in the mailbox 240, the controller part 210 selects an available discharge bin as the discharge destination of the printing matter. The controller part 210 changes indication of an LCD panel 2401 of the mailbox 240 from 'AVAIL' indicating availability to indication of a user name and executes printing and discharging.
