WORKPIECE SUPPORTING BASE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost supporting base device for supporting a workpiece WO pulled from each rack part 6a of a carriage 6 at a position at the same level with each rack part. SOLUTION: A workpiece receptacle 72 to support the workpiece WO is mounted on a base frame 71 which can be freely elevated. On the base frame 71, a pair of a first and a second engagement members 741 and 742 are provided in parallel to be capable of protruding from/retracting into the base frame. A positioning member 75 comprising first stopper parts 75a overhanging to an elevation locus of the first engagement member 741 as protruded, and second stopper parts 75b overhanging to an elevation locus of the second engagement member 742 as protruded vertically provided in a zigzag arrangement is vertically provided outside the base frame 71. As each engagement member 741 or 742 is engaged with each stopper part 75a or 75b, the base frame 71 is stopped at a position where the workpiece receptacle 72 is at the same level with each rack part 6a of the carriage 6.
