Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible heat-sensitive recording material which is excellent in printing-durable quality, has no unevenness and is stable, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This reversible heat-sensitive recording material has a structure wherein an organic low molecular substance is dispersed in a resin matrix, and a domain is formed. Also, the reversible heat-sensitive recording material can reversibly repeat a transparent state and an opaque state depending on the temperature history. This manufacturing method of such a reversible heat-sensitive recording material is constituted of a process wherein a reversible heat-sensitive recording layer liquid is coated on a supporting body, a process wherein the reversible heat-sensitive recording layer is made into a film by drying the coated liquid, and a process wherein the resin matrix is hardened by heat. In this case, the coated film temperature of the reversible heat- sensitive recording layer is made 110 deg.C or higher for one time in the drying/film-making process, or a process continuing from the drying/film-making process, or a substantially different process from the drying/film-making process. Then, the concentration of a residual solvent contained in the reversible heat-sensitive recording layer after hardening the resin is 0.4 wt.% or lower based on the recording layer coated film weight.
