Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser-diode drive circuit which realizes a stable laser beam waveform and which can reduce a radiant noise, and to provide an image formation apparatus. SOLUTION: In the laser-diode drive circuit 100 provided with a switching circuit 111 used to turn on/off a semiconductor laser 101, LC parallel resonance circuits 116, 117 are connected in series with a line to the switching circuit 111 via the semiconductor laser 101 from a power supply (+5 V) used to supply electric power to the semiconductor laser 101, and a current ringing is suppressed.
