Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new overcharge preventing agent. SOLUTION: In an electrolyte solution with lithium salt dissolved in at least one kind of nonaqueous solvent as main body selected from among a group of carbonic acid ester, ether and lactone, the secondary cell is one which uses electrolyte solution which includes 5 wt.% or less of polycyclic hydrocarbon having oxidation potential from 4.3 V to 4.9 V, e.g. camphene, camphor, or their derivatives as cyclic terpenes, to the nonaqueous solvent.
