INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREFOR, AND RECORDING MEDIUM RECORDING INFORMATION PROCESSING SOFTWARE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing technique for preparing and updating a Web site easily by XML even if a user has no professional knowledge, that is, an information processing system, an information processing method, and a recording medium recording information processing software. SOLUTION: An XML generation part 2 generates XML documents indicating the contents of Web pages based on character strings to be inputted. XSL style sheets indicating display formats of the Web pages and corresponding to the XML documents are selected from among the candidates of the XSL style sheets and are related to the XML documents by a style selection part 3. An RDB linkage part 5 registers each element in the generated XML documents in relational database RDB and makes the contents of editing reflect in the RDB when the XML documents are edited. An XMLDB control part 6 is a database management system for XML data base storing one or two or more XML documents.
