GLASS PRODUCT HAVING COLORED PATTERN AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high reproducibility in distribution of colored patterns when a glass product having the colored patterns is produced with an automatic press device by interposing a coloring material between two gobs. SOLUTION: The shape of the particle of the coloring material is made almost spherical, the coloring material is sucked with a vacuum head having a plurality of suction holes and is distributed by cancellation of suction on a first gob. Since the coloring agent is almost spherical, each coloring material is securely sucked to each suction hole, namely, the coloring materials are securely sucked to all the suction holes of the vacuum head, respectively, and the patterns of the coloring material distributed on the first gob have the same patterns so that a glass product having the same colored patterns is produced in large amount.
