MANUFACTURING DEVICE FOR WATERTIGHT WIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device for a watertight wire, capable of manufacturing a watertight wire having excellent watertightness and high reliability at high speed at a low cost. SOLUTION: The manufacturing device for a watertight wire is provided vertically in line with the first and second cylinder twisters 20 and 26 vertically accommodating a plurality of bobbins 24 and 30 for delivering a strand in cylindrical rotary cages 22 and 28 along the rotation axial line of the cages, and with a watertight material filling machine 32 which is disposed between the cylindrical rotary cages 22 and 28 of both cylindrical twisters 20 and 26. The plurality of bobbins 30 for delivering a strand accommodated in the cylindrical rotary cage 22 of the second cylindrical strand 26 contains a conductor insertion hole 30A for inserting a watertight strand conductor along the axial lines close to supporting axial lines of respective bobbins. These bobbins 30 are accommodated in a vertical line so that the directions of respective conductor insertion holes 30A are parallel to the rotation axial line of the cylindrical rotary cage 28 in the second cylindrical twister 26.
