SOLUTION: A display device which successively displays words from one section of a text includes a display device 22 and the controller 26 of a display controlling a picture displayed by the display device. The controller controls the display device so that the picture constituted of (a) a first area where the words are sequentially displayed by adjusting tempos and (b) the thumbnail view of the section of the text where the words in the first area are read at present is generated. The thumbnail view shows an adjacent place in the thumbnail view of the text which is displayed in the first area at present. |
