Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely insert a coated optical fiber ribbon into a groove of a grooved rod by giving twist back to the optical fiber coated ribbon. SOLUTION: In an assembly method in which a plurality of coated optical fiber ribbons 3 inserted from an upside into the respective grooves 2 of a traveling SZ-grooved rod 1 while the twist back is given, the control method for twist back of the coated optical fiber ribbon in a light assembler is characterized in that the wire dividing plate of the coated optical fiber ribbon 3 is forwardly and reversibly rotated while it is tracer-controlled in accordance with the phase change of the groove 2, and rotation following a direction and an angle which are calculated from data such as the travel speed of the SZ-grooved rod 1, the phase change of the groove 2, the average shape of the groove 2, a twist back rate and a desired twist back pattern which is previously generated, is given to the coated optical fiber ribbon 3 at desired time. |
