METHOD OF OPERATING COOLING TOWER, AND COOLING TOWER HAVING FREEZE-PREVENTIVE FUNCTION, AND LOUVER FOR THIS COOLING TOWER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily melt icicles frozen among louver board in a short time, and readily remove them from the above louver boards, by covering the above louver boards in expandable manner. SOLUTION: In the seasons excluding the winter, an air pump is stopped, or this freeze breakage bag 14 is shrunk and the injection port 15 of the freeze breakage bag 15 is closed in advance and it is stuck fast to the above louver board 11, thus the cooling tower A is operated. In winter, an injection port 15 is occasionally opened (by, for example, operating the air pump once every hour to every three hours) to blow air into the freeze breakage bag 14, thereby expanding this freeze breakage bag 14 outward of the above louver board 11. As a result of this expansion, cracks are made in the icicles frozen on the surface of the freeze breakage bag 14 so as to break and remove the frozen icicles.
