Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder integrated type metallic ferrule superior in concentricity and deviation from circularity in the inner and outer diameters. SOLUTION: A rod-like electroformed body is prepared by electrodepositing a metallic material on a wire, with both ends of the wire exposed, by electroforming. Before the wire is removed from the body thus obtained, the body is rotated with the wire as the center axis (main shaft) with both ends of the wire supported, and ground or cut in the outer circumferential part of the body so as to form a first to fourth outer diameter parts (102a-d) and a connecting part 102e. Then, the wire is removed from the body, which is cut to a desired length so that a metallic ferrule is obtained. The outer circumferential part of this ferrule is machined with the bore-defining wire as the center axis (main shaft). Therefore, concentricity of the bore (through hole) with the first to fourth outer diameter parts and the connecting part is very high, as is the deviation from circularity. Thus, the holder integrated type metallic ferrule can be easily manufactured. |
