Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pretreating agent for cut flowers, capable of ameliorating problems i.e., discoloration of flower color, turbidity of preserving liquid or deterioration of flower sustainability, and having higher flower freshness- retaining effect than conventional treating agents. SOLUTION: This pretreating agent for cut flowers is characterized by containing as the effective components 0.3-0.8 wt.% one or more kind(s) of saccharide, 10-1,000 ppm potassium salt as K2O and 1-30 ppm one or more kind(s) selected from aluminum salts, zinc salts and their hydrates as Al or Zn.
