Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb a thermal expansion difference between a motor case and a bearing in an electric motor of a motor-driven power steering device. SOLUTION: In this motor-driven power steering device 10, an assisting torque generated by the electric motor 50 in accordance with steering torque is added to a steering system ranging from a steering wheel to a dirigible road wheel. In the electric motor 50, a rotor 55 is rotatably supported and housed in the motor case 103 via the bearing 132. A bush 133 used as a thermal expansion absorber is interposed between the motor case 103 and the bearing 132. The diametral thermal expansion difference between the motor case 103 and the bearing 132 can be absorbed.
