PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make exposing light equally reach a photoreceptor and to obtain desired amount of toner in a state where the toner is not changed by potential by electrification or the component of electric capacity. SOLUTION: In a color electrophotographic device where a toner image is superposed on a photoreceptor belt 3 and collectively transferred, a uniform image is obtained by exposing the belt 3 from a side opposed to a developing device and enhancing the exposure intensity of an electrostatic latent image required for the toner image to be superposed in accordance with the sticking amount of the previous toner image. Since the belt 3 is formed in a belt state, it is equipped with a plate type optical unit or a multibeam optical unit.
