Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the frost between louver boards by heating an outside air intake thereby melting the icicles frozen between louver boards easily in a short time and enabling them to be removed easily from the louver boards on one hand, and by reforming the defects of a conventional art and taxing ingenuity in the intake of outside air. SOLUTION: A sealed cooling tower A takes outside air into the main body 16 of a cooling tower through the space between the adjacent louvers, and cools circulating cooling water flowing within the above sealed heat-exchanging coil 13 fitted with fins indirectly by the contact of an outside air current into the sealed heat-exchanging coil 13 fitted with fins of a kind of a heat exchanger. A heating element is provided at the outside of this louver board 11. This heating element is a sheet-type heater (for example, a carbon film), and it is of such structure that it heats the outside air current flowing between louver boards as capable of heating in the freezably cold atmosphere in winter season.
