Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a releasing connecting means to selectively connect and release mutual adjacent shield jacks according to extending-contracting operation when extending and contracting the shield jacks of a corresponding position according to assembling order of segments. SOLUTION: In this hydraulic driving device of the shield jacks for supplying pressure oil from a hydraulic pump 102 driven by a prime mover 102 to a hydraulic cylinder 15A for a plurality of shield jacks, a plurality of selecting valves 106 capable of individually selecting operation of the hydraulic cylinder 15a for the respective shield jacks are connected to a bottom side oil chamber 15c of the hydraulic cylinder 15A for the respective shield jacks, and a back pressure generating pressure control valve 108 for imparting prescribed back pressure to the rod side of the hydraulic cylinder 15A for these shield jacks is connected to a rod side oil chamber 15d of the hydraulic cylinder 15A for the respective shield jacks.
