Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a spindle-like light calcium carbonate slurry having low viscosity for both L-viscosity and H-viscosity regardless of a high solid concentration exceeding 70 wt.%, and to provide a method for producing it. SOLUTION: This method for producing a spindle-like light calcium carbonate slurry comprises a wet-type dispersion treatment process of the spindle-like light calcium carbonate slurry having a solid concentration of 70 to 78 wt.% in which a pre-mixing of a system consisting of spindle-like light calcium carbonate and water mixed with a dispersant by a mixer makes a slurry having 0.5 to 1.5 μm media diameter and 25 to 250 mPa.s viscosity measured by B-type viscometer, and a milling by disk agitating type medium grinding mill is performed at a circumferential speed of the disk satisfying an inequality: 1.1×104 A1/2B-3/4C-1/2D-1
