PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heater, that is low cost and small size, while being simple in manufacture and installation, and has high effect of leak magnetic-flux suppression, as well as providing a leak magnetic-flux suppression mechanism having its own exothermic measures, and accordingly has little leakage magnetic flux. SOLUTION: A magnetic pipe 31, which is positioned toward the bottom of the transferred strip 11, is respectively arranged at both the entrance side, and the exit side of the coil 12, and cooling water is filled in the pipe 31 using the hose 32 and the branch tube 33. The magnetic flux directed from the coil 12 to the outside enters into the pipe and the leakage magnetic flux is suppressed.
