Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single-head swash plate compressor, in which abrasion of an annular sliding and contacting surface of the swash plate with a shoe, which floats from the swash plate and partially contact on the swash plate, is suppressed. SOLUTION: This single-head switch plate compressor comprises: a driving shaft; a swash plate attached to the driving shaft and rotating in synchronization with the driving shaft; a single-head piston head to the swash plate through a pair of shoes slidably clamping the swash plate; and a cylinder block having a bore into which the single-head piston is slidably inserted. A metal plate having hardness larger than the swash plate is pressed-in on the annular sliding and contacting surface of the swash plate with the shoe.
