PREPARATION COMPOUNDED WITH TRACE ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparation compounded with trace elements, capable of solving problems caused by conventional nutrient preparations administered to a patient in a pathophysiologic state for the purpose of improving the patient' s nutritive situation. SOLUTION: This preparation compounded with trace elements is usefully administered to such a patient as manganese content in his whole blood increases to 15 μg/l or more when the nutrient preparation containing trace elements is administered, wherein the preparation does not substantially contain manganese, but contains at least iron, zinc, copper, and iodine. Further, the preparation is usefully administered to the patient who is required that the increase of the manganese content in his whole blood should be avoided and is compelled to depend on total parenteral nutrition because peroral and enteral alimentation is impossible, wherein the preparation does not substantially contain manganese, but contains at least iron, zinc, copper, and iodine. The preparation is preferably packed with a package made of a specified material.
