Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for removing core sand of a casting tube capable of collapsing the core made of cast iron sand left inside the socket of a cast iron tube just drawn out of the mold with an impact without fear of change in shape of a product under an unattended state and capable of successively scraping the collapsed sand out mechanically. SOLUTION: The apparatus for removing core sand of a casting tube is a rotating arm 1 having a hammer section 2 to hammer the outer surface of the bottom section of a tube 10a of the casting tube 10, and a plumb bob 4 is provided at the back end side after a supporting point 3 and in the back end 1a side of the rotating arm 1 supported so that the front end of the rotating arm is rotated and energized in the rising direction by the plumb bob 4, an intermittent drive unit 5 which drives the back end 1a of the rotating arm only to the rising direction is provided and a work arm 6 located along the direction of the central axis 10c of the casting tube 10 is supported by a frame 7 reciprocating movably in the axial direction, and in the top end of the work arm 6, a scraping member 12 is provided and while the whole work arm 6 retires from the core sand storage position to the outside of the tube, the scraping member 12 contacts the internal surface of the casting tube 10, and at the time of an inserting step, an inclined position is variably supported by the frame 7 so that the scraping member 12 at the front end of the arm does not contact internal surface of the casting tube 10.
