Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid bearing device which implements easy working, low working cost, excellent manufacturability, and high reliability in which unstable vibration is suppressed. SOLUTION: A spindle motor is provided with a shaft 13 having a flange part 15 integrally formed and a sleeve 12 facing the shaft 13 through a fluid bearing clearance, wherein the shaft 13 is made up of a copper alloy or an aluminum alloy.
