MUDDY WATER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high-quality muddy water derived from the soil originating at the site, and usable for shielding or the like by a method by which a large amount of the muddy water can be readily produced. SOLUTION: This high-quality muddy water containing fine sand, silt and clay, and having >=50 sec funnel index and 0.1-0.5 mm DMAX is obtained by a method comprising a mud-disintegrating step for disintegrating the mud by adding water to the soil caused by construction to provide a raw muddy water, a regulating step for filtering the raw muddy water to provide a regulated muddy water having 10-20 mm DMAX, a first filtering step for passing the regulated muddy water to a laying cylinder type strainer opened to the atmosphere to provide a muddy water having 0.5-2.0 mm DMAX, a second filtering step for passing the muddy water obtained at the first filtering step to the laying cylinder type strainer opened to the atmosphere to provide the objective finished muddy water having 0.1-0.5 mm DMAX.
