FACILITY FOR MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION OF ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facility for maintenance and inspection of elevator capable of handling an inspection fence without troublesome management at the time of maintenance and inspection works such that the inspection fence is carried to the place each time from elsewhere and installed and that after the works, the fence is carried back each time to be stored. SOLUTION: At the wall surface of a jamb 3 to constitute a doorway 2 of an elevator, recesses 11 and 15 are formed capable of accommodating a sheet 12 and a lever 16 to support the sheet 12 as constituent members of the inspection fence 31 to be used at the time of maintenance and inspection works of the elevator, and the constituent members of the fence 31 are accommodated in the recesses 11 and 15 in such a way as capable of being inserted and removed.
