WORK CLAMP DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work clamp device clamping the outside diameter of a work with a base stock vice jaw and a moving stock vice jaw, wherein fine position adjustment of the base stock vice jaw is easily made with high degree of precision. SOLUTION: The base stock vice jaw 1 is supported movably in and out on a pedestal 3, and mounted on the tip of a supporting member 5 locked at a randomly chosen position by a lock means 10. The wedge-shaped adjustment liner 15 capable of advancing and retreating in a direction orthogonal to the moving direction is incorporated in the adjustment clearance 14 between the rare end surface 5a of the supporting member 5 and the supporting surface 13a on the side of a pedestal 3 facing the rare end surface 5a. Screw means 16 for advancing and retreating a liner is provided together which finely adjusts forward and backward of the moving direction of the supporting member 5 the position of a receiving surface 15a with which the rare end surface 5a of the supporting member 5 is brought into contact by moving the adjustment liner 15 advancingly and retractingly.
