FACSIMILE EQUIPMENT WITH E-MAIL FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive a new E-mail by automatically printing the oldest E-mail reception document, and then erasing the memory area of the E-mail when the number of received E-mails exceeds the preliminarily set number of preservation documents. SOLUTION: This facsimile equipment is provided with an operating part 1 for setting the number of preservation documents or the capacity of the preservation documents, a reception document memory 2 for storing reception E-mail documents, a recording part 3 for printing the E-mail documents on recording paper, a main control part 4 for controlling the whole device, a communication control part 5 for receiving and outputting an E-mail or facsimile signal from a line, a number of preservation document storing part 41 for recording the number of documents set by the operating part 1, a preservation document capacity storing part 42 for storing the capacity of documents set by the operating part, and a preservation document management table 43 for storing the reception E-mails stored in the reception document memory 2 in the order of the old document number.
