PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a market place system, having retrieval function which enables a buyer to quickly search a desired commodity or the like, and to retrieve a supplier capable of offering the desired commodity or a service for each area. SOLUTION: This market place system 5 displays a list of a plurality of construction machines to a borrowing dealer and sorts the construction machines displayed on the list, according to the contents or numerical values of the specification, corresponding to the selected type when the type of desired specifications is selected by the borrowing dealer from the types of the specifications of the construction machines displayed on the list. The market place system 5 stores information of each area, in charge of a plurality of suppliers, and receives the designation of the desired construction machine and of the area where it is offered, from the buyer. When they are specified to the buyer, the suppliers which include the specified area in their areas in charge and are capable of offering the specified construction machine among a plurality of suppliers are reported to the buyer, and the selection of the supplier as a dealing mate among the reported suppliers is received from the buyer.
