DEVICE AND METHOD FOR REPRODUCING SIGNAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal reproducing device which reproduces a part having the most errors and the rest signal after correcting the errors by applying optimum path detection algorithm only to the part having the most error in a signal to be reproduced in order not to make hardware and software complicated. SOLUTION: This signal reproducing device for reproducing the original record signal ak from a prescribed channel signal, includes a maximum error area deciding part 300 for deciding a maximum error area from the channel signal y(t), an optimum path searching part 310 for searching for a minimum error path by using only an error signal on the error area decided by the deciding part 300 and correcting the minimum error path, and a signal restoring part 320 for applying prescribed algorithm to the channel signal y(t) on which a signal part corrected by the searching part 310 is reflected and restoring the first record signal.
