Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and quickly mount and demount a rear shaft of an escalator step. SOLUTION: A pin 11 for fixing a sleeve 10 fitted in a bearing part 9 and rotatably supporting a shaft 7, to the bearing part 9 is energized by a coil spring 12 to be constantly inserted into a hole 12 of the sleeve 10 and supported by a bracket 15. A face ratchet 30 is mounted between a head 11a of the pin supported by the bracket 15 and the bracket 15. The pin 11 is axially moved with a predetermined stroke against the force of the coil spring 12 by turning the head 11a, to be removed from the hole 19 of the sleeve 10.
