Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for manufacturing a screen printing plate by forming apertures by irradiating a resin coating film with laser beam without cutting screen gauze. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the screen printing plate by apply laser beam 2f to the resin coating film 12 applied to the screen printing plate 1 by sweep irradiation to transpire the resin coating film 12, and forming each of the apertures of a character or figure pattern predetermined by a plurality of hatching straight lines 16 and 17 which are parallelly carved at a predetermined constant interval W by the sweep scanning of the laser beam 2f, the sweep scanning of the laser beam 2f is performed so that hatching scanning is performed linearly in the same direction F, and a laser processing condition of the next adjacent hatching straight line 17 is changed corresponding to the scanning distance L of the hatching straight line 16 immediately before parallel carving.
