Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold having a smooth surface which can not generate a bright point in a molded light guide plate and a stamper, and a method for producing the mold and the stamper. SOLUTION: After a relatively thick metal-plated layer (k22) is formed on a surface (k2a) which can form at least the light emission surface of the light guide plate of the stamper to be housed in the mold (k2) forming a cavity (kc1) for molding the light guide plate and the cavity, the metal-plated layer (k22) is polished in a prescribed thickness to make the surface specular.
