WATER TREATMENT DEVICE CHARACTERISTICALLY PROVIDED WITH DIRECT-CURRENT ELECTRODE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more effectively carry out waste water treatment by raising the concentration of specific ions to be treated in waste water by means of a simple method and to adjust the pH of the waste water to a pH suitable for the treatment by means of the simple method. SOLUTION: A water treatment device for treating the specific ions to be treated is provided at a part where ions in water are induced and concentrated by electrodes. An adsorbent which shows high adsorption under acidic or alkaline condition is provided at a part where the water is acidified or alkalinized by the electrodes, respectively. An ion-permeable membrane is provided between the anode and the cathode. The treated water which flows out from the anode is combined with the treated water which flows out from the cathode and then exhausted.
