Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning tape to prevent the electrostatic discharge damage and obtain a good head contact, as the cleaning tape suitable to clean a high sensitive magnetic head such as a magneto-resistive(MR) head. SOLUTION: The electrostatic discharge damage and the malfunction of a magnetic head are prevented by establishing the surface specific resistance of a cleaning layer provided on one side on a non-magnetic base at 3×103 to 1×108 Ω/cm2. Moreover, by establishing the longitudinal Young's modulus (machine direction(MD)) of a cleaning tape within the range of 7 GPa to 15 GPa, the good head contact is obtained, so that the differential wear of the magnetic head is prevented.
