Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid hazardous nature of toxic accident due to retention of carbon monoxide, explosion and backflow in the water seal device for a gas duct that consists of a rotary type water seal valve and a V type water seal valve. SOLUTION: The water seal device for a gas duct equips with a water supply line with solenoid valves 18 at he bottom of the rotary type water seal valve 13, a blow line with a solenoid valve 20 at the bottom of the V type water seal valve 14, a pressure gauge 21 on the duct part P between the rotary type water seal valve 13 and V type water seal valve 14, a vent line with a vent valve 23 and a N2 pipe line with a solenoid valve to open and close corresponding to the pressure detecting signal from the pressure gauge 21, and a pressure equalization line 27 connected to the upper part of the both sides duct of the V type water seal valve 14a, 14b with a solenoid valve 26 to open and close corresponding to the pressure-detecting signal from the pressure gauge 21.
