Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of local deformation on a Siamese cylinder barrel due to a dividing portion, in a cooling device for an internal combustion engine formed with a water jacket between a cylinder block exterior wall and the Siamese cylinder barrel made by integrally uniting plural cylinder barrels forming a line, and provided with the dividing portion between the Siamese cylinder barrel and the cylinder block exterior wall at one end side along a arranging direction of the cylinder barrels. SOLUTION: An elastic element 23 internally having a core member 24 is fitted between the cylinder block exterior wall 15 and the Siamese cylinder barrel 10 while partially being fitted in a recess portion 25 provided on an inner surface of the cylinder block exterior wall 15, thereby composing the dividing portion 16. The core member 24 is built in the elastic element 23 in such a way as to be partially disposed in the recess portion side from the inner surface of the cylinder block exterior wall 15.
