Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire-resistant coating method of a base isolation device which is simple in the constitution and excellent in workability, can execute periodical inspection for the base isolation device with ease, excellent in design, requires no finishing materials, and can contribute to cost reduction. SOLUTION: The peripheral part of a base isolation device of at least one of the upper and lower flanges is coated with a fire resistant board to form a plane a little higher than the top end of a bolt or a nut fixing the flange. One of the upper and lower ends of a fire resistant panel arranged in the position surrounding the outer periphery of the base isolation device is attached to the structural body and the other end is assembled to be transferable along the plane of the fire-resistant board.
