METHOD FOR PLATING NOBLE METAL HAVING CORROSION RESISTANCE AND NOBLE METAL PLATE ACCESSORIES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for plating noble metal superior in luster and corrosion resistance, without using nickel which causes a metallic allergy, and noble metal plated accessories. SOLUTION: The method for plating a noble metal is characterized by plating a Sn/Zn/Cu alloy for a primary plating with a film thickness of at least 0.1 μm, plating an Au/Ag alloy for an intermediate plating with a film thickness of at least 0.1 μm, and plating a Pd or Pd alloy excluding nickel thereon. Thereby the method achieves a noble metal plating with a superior ductility, luster, appearance, and corrosion resistance, and enables the noble metal plated film to be thin and the cost to be reduced. Moreover, the method provides the noble metal plated accessories such as glasses frame, or glasses frame parts, and other accessories, which even a sensitive person to a metallic allergy can safely wear, because the plated noble metal does not cause the metallic allergy.
