Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of selecting and printing an image remotely by a personnel locally or via a network by the printer, an image processor suitable to generate a hard copy print and a method for generating the print by the printer and the processor. SOLUTION: The digital printer is operatively coupled to a digital storage medium interface and a graphical user interface to select the image stored in the medium for locally or remotely printing. The user interface has a user controller 430, and an image display 432 for displaying the image for printing. The user can, for example, select a subset of the image to be printed from the removable memory having the stored image. Further, the user can communicate with a realizing center via the network by using the user interface, and can request a remote print and/or a photographic product.
