Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator for dynamo-electric machine wherein the insulating capability of the coil thereof and the cooling capability are enhanced. SOLUTION: The stator 10 includes a stator core 20 and a stator coil 40 inserted into the slots 22 in the stator core, so that the tooth portions 24 of the stator core 20 are wound with the coil. For the stator coil 40, a desired number of turns is obtained by laminating U-shaped coils formed into a U-shape in advance, inserting a U-shaped coil into adjoining slots 22 with a stator tooth portion in-between, and connecting the ends of the U-shaped coil to ends of adjoining U-shaped coils.
