Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a pigment sensitized solar cell having high conversion efficiency. SOLUTION: The pigment sensitized solar cell includes a semiconductor layer composed of a photoelectric conversion layer and a reverse electron injection preventing layer, wherein the photoelectric conversion layer is formed from a metal oxide semiconductor, and the surface roughness coefficient is between 100 and 3000 while the film thickness is between 1 and 50 μm. The reverse electron implant preventing layer is made of metal oxide semiconductor, the same as the photoelectric conversion layer, having a film thickness of 1-50 μm.
