PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray generator in which an anticathode can be rotated at a high speed, in a state that rotation deflection of this anticathode is suppressed very low. SOLUTION: This is the X-ray generator 1, having the anticathode 6 to rotate while generating the X-ray, a cylindrical rotary shaft 7 to rotate along with the anticathode 6 and a stationary shaft 32 installed inside and to form a first space R1 between the inner peripheral face of the rotary shaft 7. A fluid for generating pressure, when the rotary shaft 7 moves in a direction perpendicular to a rotary shaft line X0 is made to flow into the first space R1 through the second space R2 and a hole 33. A fluid bearing is constituted by the pressure of the fluid in the first space R1, and the rotation deflection of the anticathode 6 can be suppressed to a trace amount of ±1 μm or less.
