Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid level indicator having a function for switching the sampling time of detecting the liquid level between 'quick' and 'slow', and a bulk storage tank having the liquid level indicator. SOLUTION: A switch L operates at the time of filling a bulk storage tank 1 with liquefied petroleum gas, and a liquid level indicator 7 detects the liquid level S of liquefied petroleum gas stored in the bulk storage tank wherein the liquid level indicator 7 comprises the input section of the switch, and a control section 15 which can switch the sampling time of detecting the liquid level between at least two stages of 'quick' and 'slow'. The control section 15 switches the sampling time to 'quicken' in response to an operating signal of the switch received from the input section.
