Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acrylonitrile polymer having stabilized thermal oxidation reactivity and suitable as a raw material for a carbonaceous material such as carbon fiber. SOLUTION: The acrylonitrile polymer satisfies the formula: x=0.08 to 0.6 and formula (1) wherein (x) is defined by Da/(Da+Db) (Da is the infrared absorbvance caused by the C-O double bond of carboxy group and measured by KBr tablet method and Db is the infrared absorbance caused by C-N triple bond of cyano group) and (y) is the reciprocal of tp (min) (1/tp) defined by the time to develop the exothermic peak on the isothermal heat-generation curve measured in an air stream of 100 mL/min at 230 deg.C by a heat-flux differential scanning calorimeter. |
