Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eccentric position spherical surface working method capable of accomplishing high-accuracy spherical surface working in NC lathe having flexibility, and reducing the manufacturing cost by aggregating spherical surface working and other working, restraining plant and equipment investment, reducing the working time, and reducing the inter-process moving time. SOLUTION: A boring tool A is fitted to a tool shaft 10, and the tool shaft 10 is disposed at an angle θ of intersection to the center line Sa so that the circular locus of the cutting knife edge 14 of the tool A passes the point of eccentricity and intersects the center line Sa parallel to the Z-axis. The workpiece W is rotated to turn a part to be worked, and the tool shaft 10 is moved for circular interpolation on an X-Y plane to the turning movement of the part to be worked so that the tool shaft 10 moves to follow up the turning of the part to be worked, whereby while the tool A is relatively moved to rotate around the point of eccentricity, the tool A is rotated, and the tool A is fed in the direction of Z-axis to approach the workpiece W to be cut.
