Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing an improved adsorbent-containing sheet for use in an air separating process. SOLUTION: An adsorbent-containing slurry sheet is washed with an aqueous solution of an alkali, an alkali metallic salt or a mixture of these to add these materials to the sheet. The adsorbent is a low silicon type X zeolite. The resulting adsorbent-containing sheet is formed into the objective monolithic adsorbent. This monolithic adsorbent improves adsorption capacity and N2/O2 selectivity when used in an air separating process.
