Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-life flat plate solid oxide fuel cell which can effectively reduce thermal stress generated between a collector plate and a member connected electrically to the collector plate, and can effectively prevent damage of a component member caused by thermal stress. SOLUTION: A flat plate solid oxide fuel cell 10 contains at least one power generating film (unit cell) 2, and at least one slit is provided to a collector plate to collect electric charge generated by cell reaction in each power generating film. From this, inner temperature distribution of the collector plate makes it possible to keep a given temperature gradient reflecting the inner temperature distribution of a member 3 (inter-connector) connected electrically to the collector plate.
